Get to know Larry..

Many years ago I teamed up with one of Chicago’s premiere interior designers, David Andrew Interiors, to assist by completing the final trim work necessary to complete various design motifs. My skill set involved implementation of intricate designs in lighting and constructions. Our projects spanned the Gold Coast, Printer’s Row, Hyde Park, Lincoln Park/Old Town and the South Loop, River West and Streeterville in addresses such as The Aqua, The Bristol, The Walton, 420 East Waterside, The Park Newberry, Jackson Towers, Trump International, The Waldorf Astoria, and many more.

Lately, what began as trim work has evolved into complete renovation projects for kitchens and baths, utilizing all the skills of design, construction, tile, plumbing and electric. I rely on my team of demolition specialists, plumbers and electricians when the projects get larger but I am always there to do the design and lead aspects of the projects.

If you are a wondering about my credentials, let’s start with basic schooling in electronics and electricity way back in the ‘60s. I spent time in the Naval Air Reserve, 20 years in fact, where I maintained a Top Secret clearance for about 16 of those years while I logged over 1,600 flight hours as a communication specialist. Concurrently, I developed a career in telecommunications where I designed and deployed telephone, fiber optic and digital radio networks. I was also visiting faculty at DePaul University and Truman College. I have a degree in marketing and have held various volunteer positions with a few different non-profit organizations in Chicago.
